I didnât always live a âhealthy lifestyle.â In fact, for years, I felt exhausted, stressed, and completely out of balance. Between work, family, and the never-ending to-do list, I put myself dead lastâand I felt it. My energy was gone, my joints ached, and I knew something had to change.
At first, I did what most people doâI jumped on quick fixes, extreme diets, and exhausting workouts. But nothing stuck. I felt like I was either "all in" or completely failing.
And honestly? It was exhausting.
Thatâs when I had a lightbulb moment: what if wellness wasnât about perfection, but about small, sustainable choices?
So I ditched the all-or-nothing mindset and started making changes I could actually stick with:
⨠Moving my body in ways I enjoyed.
⨠Managing stress without feeling guilty for taking a break.
⨠Hydrating (because turns out, I was basically a human raisin).
⨠Learning how to feel good without the pressure to be perfect.
And slowly but surely, it worked. I felt better, lighter, and more like myself again.
My husband, Mike, was a little skeptical at first (he still jokes about how I tried to get him to swap coffee for green teaâspoiler: he wasnât a fan đ).
But over time, he saw the difference, and now weâre in this togetherâfiguring out how to live well without stress, guilt, or restriction.
